Rich Mautz is a first year student in the J.M. Tull School of Accounting where he focuses on experimental audit research.
Prior to joining the PhD program, Rich worked as a technology associate at Bank of America in Charlotte, NC. His professional experience also includes regulatory reporting and internal audit positions at BB&T Bank, as well as an audit position at Deloitte in New York, NY.
Rich earned his Bachelors and Masters in Accountancy at Appalachian State University and the University of Tennessee, respectively. He also holds a Masters in Computer Science and Information Systems from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
