Pagnattaro awarded innovative instruction grant

Marisa Pagnattaro, professor of legal studies in the Terry College, earned a $5,000 grant to create an innovation course called “Apple Inc.’s Global Business Strategies: Balancing Law, Ethics and Human Rights” that could begin in the fall.

Pagnattaro’s project was one of 26 to receive a Summer 2013 Innovation Instruction Faculty Grant provided by the Office of the Vice President for Instruction, in collaboration with the Office of the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost. The purpose of the grants is to improve teaching across campus.

Paganattaro’s course will ask students to consider the complexities of legal and ethical issues of global business by examining the recent issues faced by Apple Inc.
