Construction of the new Business Learning Community may have started six years ago in 2013, but the Terry College of Business has been building on its deeply rooted history for more than 100 years.

As the state’s flagship business school at the nation’s birthplace of public higher education, the Terry College has withstood many tests. At the start of an exciting new chapter, the values, standards and expectations established in our first century continue to guide our dreams and aspiration today.

“Every day, the Terry Business Learning Community is a reminder of the legacy of excellence and service that has defined our college from our first few students in 1912 to our more than 70,000 alumni today,” said Dean Benjamin C. Ayers.

This video celebrates the scrappy beginnings of the School of Commerce, the bold vision that became the Business Learning Community and the bright future of the Terry College of Business.
