Silicon Valley Advisory Council

The Silicon Valley Advisory Council (SVAC) is composed of Terry alumni living and working in the greater Silicon Valley area. Their objective is to help organize our annual Silicon Valley Market Trek and provide insight into tech-oriented companies on the west coast. The overarching goal of the SVAC is to assist in Georgia MBA student success in Silicon Valley and to expand the presence of the Georgia MBA brand.

The part-time and full-time MBA programs at UGA both moved up the latest graduate school rankings from U.S. News & World Report, with the part-time Professional MBA in Atlanta earning its best ranking ever from U.S. News.

On Sept. 11, 2001, Adam C. Johnson was in his sophomore classroom at T.F. Riggs High School in Pierre, S.D., watching the television as the terrorist attacks played out halfway across the country. That moment sealed Johnson’s commitment to serve.
