The 2023 honorees of the University of Georgia’s 40 Under 40 include four graduates who earned a degree from the Terry College of Business.
The annual 40 Under 40 celebrates the personal, professional and philanthropic achievements of successful UGA graduates under 40. The honorees will be recognized during the 13th annual 40 Under 40 Awards Luncheon on campus this fall.
Here are the four alumni with Terry ties:
- Brittany Romig Caison (MBA ’16) of Hoschton is vice president of marketing, member services and governmental affairs at Jackson EMC.
- Scott Voigt (BBA ’07, MAcc ’08) of Athens is a partner and co-founder of financial advising firm Verisail Partners. He received his undergraduate degree in accounting before earning his MAcc degree.
- Derrick A. Williams (BBA ’12) of Beaverton, Ore., serves as global technology audit and advisory manager for Nike Inc. He majored in accounting at Terry.
- Harriett Williams (BBA ’12) of Atlanta is co-founder and vice president of Village Micro Fund, an investment fund providing micro-funding for small businesses in the U.S. and abroad. She was a management information systems major at Terry.
“Across their industries, these graduates represent the pillars of the Arch and the Bulldog spirit as they lead the charge to solve some of the world’s greatest challenges,” said Meredith Gurley Johnson, UGA’s executive director of alumni relations. “We are so proud of their accomplishments and are pleased to welcome them back to Athens.”
Nominations for 40 Under 40 were open from February to March, and the alumni association received hundreds of nominations. Honorees must have attended UGA and uphold the three pillars of the Arch: wisdom, justice and moderation. Additional criteria are available on the UGA Alumni website.
