Nine honorees of the University of Georgia’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2018 earned a degree from the Terry College of Business.
The annual list, which recognizes successful UGA alumni under the age of 40, includes five Terry alums with an undergraduate degree and four Terry grads who earned multiple degrees. Nominations were open from February to April, and more than 550 alumni were nominated for this year’s class. Honorees must have attended UGA and uphold the Pillars of the Arch, which are wisdom, justice and moderation.
The honorees will be recognized during the eighth annual 40 Under 40 Awards Luncheon on Sept. 13 at the Georgia Aquarium. Here are the nine alumni with Terry ties:
- Ivey Evans (BBA ’06, ABJ ’06, MBA ’13) of Columbus is a social purpose manager at Aflac. At Terry, she majored in marketing.
- Chloe Kelley (BBA ’06) of New York City is a senior vice president at PIMCO. She majored in international business.
- Capt. William Keyes (BBA ’10, BS ’10, MA ’10, JD ’13) of Washington, D.C., is a captain in the U.S. Army and prosecutor with the Department of Defense. He earned four degrees from UGA: bachelor degrees in statistics and economics, a master’s in economics and a law degree.
- Ryan Leveille (BBA ’13) of Atlanta is a global design manager in the innovation lab at General Electric. He majored in management information systems and is presently in the Georgia MBA program.
- Lucas Puente (AB ’10, BBA ’10) of San Francisco, Calif., is the lead economist at Thumbtack. He majored in finance.
- Latham Saddler (BBA ’05) of Washington, D.C., is a U.S. Navy SEAL and director of intelligence programs at the National Security Council. He majored in economics.
- Adrianna Samaniego (BBA ’10) of San Francisco, Calif., is co-founder of Area 120 at Google Inc. She majored in finance.
- Amy Washington (BBA ’09) of Bogart is the founder and executive director of Kupendwa Ministries. She was a marketing major.
- Michael Williams (BSED ’01, MBA ’06) of Kennesaw is a finance director at The Home Depot. He graduated in sports studies from the College of Education and returned to Georgia for his MBA degree.
